Growing calls in the late 19th century for the colonies to unite culminated in a series of referendums, which eventually passed in all six colonies. The Commonwealth of Australia was inaugurated on 1 January 1901, and the first Parliament was opened in Melbourne four months later. To commemorate the 125th anniversary of Federation in 2026, the Royal Australian Mint presents this uncirculated seven-coin collection. Each colony that became a state of Australia in 1901 is commemorated on a 25-cent coin, which features the state's distinctive faunal and floral emblems. The New South Wales and South Australia coins also include emblems of the Australian Capital Territory and Northern Territory respectively; these territories, formed in 1911, were part of the states at the time of Federation. The seventh coin in the collection is a one-dollar coin representing the Commonwealth of Australia. The seven coins, each presented in its own card, are as follows:
New South Wales (25c)
Tasmania (25c)
Western Australia (25c)
South Australia (25c)
Victoria (25c)
Queensland (25c)
Commonwealth of Australia ($1)
Packaged in a beautiful presentation tin, this special coin collection commemorates 125 years of a federated Australia.

STRICT LIMIT OF 1 PER CUSTOMER, ORDER, HOUSEHOLD ETC.
