DETAILS

The One Cent coin is the lowest denomination in Australian decimal currency. The obverse features the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Raphael Maklouf. The reverse side of the coin features the image of a feathertail glider, a gliding possum unique to Australian states bordering the Pacific Ocean. The image was designed by Stuart Devlin.
