In keeping with the Year 2000 celebrations, the Royal Australian Mint has produced this 2000 Six Coin Proof Set. The set features the 5c, 10c, 20c, $1 and $2 coins with their original circulating designs, arraged in the constellation of the Southern Cross. 
Vladimir Gottwald's specially prepared commemorative 50c coin is the showpiece of the set, featuring the Australian National Flag, emblazoned in colour - a first time in a Six Coin Set.
