Description

Celebrate the Centenary of Federation with this 3 coin Uncirculated Set from NSW and produced by the Royal Australian Mint.

All coins present the crowned mature head of Queen Elizabeth II (her effigy known as the
"Fourth Portrait"). The Queen wears the "Girls of Great Britain and Ireland" diamond tiara, a wedding gift from Queen Mary (Her Majesty's grandmother) in 1947 - which she also has on the Machin and the Gottwald portraits.

On the reverse of each coin, the New South Wales Federation set includes the fifty cent coin bearing the State Arms and a twenty cent coin depicting the State floral emblem over on a map of New South Wales together with an uncirculated Federation commemorative dollar featuring the logo - a map of Australia formed by a single line and ending at the Federation Star.

This coin set is housed on a large blue printed card that folds down into 4 neat sections, and is housed in a cardboard outer sleeve that displays the State Arms on the cover.

Please note: The card housing may have some small cosmetic damages such as bumped corners and discolouration spots due to age or wear, as this is a second hand item.
