Following on from the success of the Land, Air and Ocean Series, the first two coins of the Animals of the Zoo Series was released by the Royal Australian Mint. One of the first two coins features the Lowlands Gorilla. An added bonus to this series is that this is the first time the Royal Australian Mint has included ‘exotic’ animals on its coins.
