In contrast to our beloved Land, Air, Ocean and Animals of the Zoo releases, our Animal Series in 2013 features critters that live in some of the coldest places on Earth. One of the first coin releases in this series features the Rockhopper Penguin, one of the world’s smallest penguins and which are easily identifiable by their blood-red eyes, red orange beak and pink webbed feet. They are a friendly and sociable species and can be seen in groups known as colonies.
