Details

Measuring in at 14 by 8 meters in size, this iconic animal has been immortalised in gigantic form, gracing the small town of Dadswells Bridge in Victoria. Supported by a sturdy steel frame, and composed from bronze and fibreglass, The Giant Koala was made by Dutch sculptor Ben Van Zetten in 1989. The internal structure of the Koala is able to be accessed by the front forearms, and houses a souvenir and gift shop.
