This stunning 2025 $1 Fine Silver Proof Coin celebrates Canberra, the Mint's beautiful bush capital home, and the city's iconic local resident, the eastern grey kangaroo.
The reverse design depicts an elegant eastern grey bounding through a stylised representation of the bush capital.
Swaths of dense and ornate bushland counterpoint striking representations of iconic Canberra landmarks including Parliament House, Black Mountain Tower and the Royal Australian Mint.
A sky full of majestic hot air balloons finish this stunning coin design.
As part of the Royal Australian Mint's 60th anniversary in 2025, Bush Capital celebrates the Mint's unique and beautiful location, as well as one of Canberra's most ubiquitous marsupial inhabitants.
