The alphabet is one of the first lessons we all learn, and we swell with pride at learning to recite the letters, spell our name or read our first words. Bringing together these cherished childhood themes, The Royal Australian Mint crafted these coins to enchant and educate.

This beautiful coloured carded $1 coin features the letter R and an Eastern Rosella. The front of the card presents the letter R and a Rosella, whereas the back of the card presents a sentence focusing on words beginning with the letter R, whilst also including holographic words; Rosella, Ruler, Rocket, & Rope.

With an original set mintage of unlimited, only 9,525 were actually made according to the 'Renniks Coin & Banknote Values 32nd Edition' book, making these a rare collector.
